Petcube Bites is designed with modern dog owners in mind, it can blend well in any modern house. The body feels very smooth and sturdy, it doesn’t feel cheap at all.

Overall, while Petcube Bites is great, it’s very simple. There is not much features present here but everything works as expected. The app has never crashed, which is a big bonus.

Now for the newer version called Petcube Bites 2. As you’d expect there are new features to mess around with here. This time Petcube Bites 2 has Amazon Alexa smart speakers feature and complete with 160-degree field of view and deeper zoom.

You can now use all of Amazon commands such as timer, weather, time, play music and many more. Design-wise there is not much difference between the two.

Just like before it can fling treats for your pets but this time with better integration. Petcube has learned a lot about what smartphones can do nowadays and really wanted to take advantage of that.

The result is a better app than ever before and more ways to use your smartphone to operate Petcube Bites 2. It has become more of a camera system inside your home that you can install and monitor more things than just your pets.

It’s always operating 24/7 if you allow it to. Just like Petcube Bites, it has a two-way audio system installed. You can talk to them and they can listen to you, and you can give them treats using this Smart Pet Camera.

On the bottom, there is a dispenser to fling out treats. This time you have more options on how you want to throw the treats, to the ground, to the bowl, or across the room, unlike the previous version where you can only choose close or long-distance throw.
